Volunteer House in East St Louis
(the old St Philip's Convent on Church Ln)
8213 Church Lane is the address at Sr Thea Bowman - which is next door, for those who would like to mapquest it.

DIRECTIONS:
From the Cracker Barrel off of Int 64 at HWY 157:
Travel towards Belleville and the Dairy Queen - South - on 157
After the exit for the Metrolink and Hwy 161 look on the RIGHT for a street (Church Ln - the Driver's License Facility is there, too)
Follow the curve in the road to the RIGHT
Once you see the cemetery on your right you are there - park in front of the large building to the left of the cemetery - that is the volunteer house.
Just ring the bell or find us already outside!

BRING A LUNCH!

There are two options to help out:
1. Outside - yard work, raking, working on the cemetery, trimming
2. Inside - We will be working on the preliminary work for the Thanksgiving Dinner at St Luke's - typing up letters, stuffing envelopes, making lists - and other type fun!

Oddwalk Ministries CD Release Concert

Oddwalk Ministries (Shannon Cerneka and Orin Johnson) will celebrate their CD release with a Free Concert with local musicians from across the Diocese - check out www.oddwalkministries.com for more information about Oddwalk.

(In fairness, Orin (1/2 of Oddwalk) is my husband, just so you have full disclosure!)




BINGO! at St Stephen's Parish

I would suggest getting there by 5:30 to get a seat with the group. (or email and we'll save you a seat)
We will be in the non-smoking room...

Enjoy a fun evening, support a local parish and visit with other young adults (just not when they are calling the numbers!) all for under $10!
St Stephens uses paper cards, so a dobber is needed (they sell them for 75 cents).
We've also found that markers or sharpies work just as well!
